I remember how scared I was to go and see a counsellor, which is why, after thinking about it for a long time and then searching for the right person, a lot of people find it difficult to actually go. That is one of the reasons I work online. Being in an environment that you have chosen can feel more relaxing (ok maybe relaxing isn’t the right word) but easier than going somewhere you’ve never been before.  I can imagine your anxiety levels increasing at the thought of it!


Anxiety can impact all areas of life such as not feeling confident enough to apply for the next level in your career, causing problems in your relationships, going to social events, sleep deprivation and of course not to mention your own happiness. 


It can feel like nothing is going right and when this happens it makes it difficult to figure out a solution because you don’t know, at that point, what the problem is and to top it all off once your anxiety calms down you then feel less energetic, which then affects your mood.
